LA Spas 3" 40 Sqft Filter Cartridge Replacement
LA Spas 3.5" MPT pleated filter cartridge replacement - replaces LA Spas Aqua Kleen sock style bag filter system 2003+
205mm high x 125mm diameter x closed top x threaded spigot bottom (threaded spigot 85mm OD, 74mm ID)
Remove Aqua Kleen bag, unscrew plastic basket, and replace with this pleated cartridge.
Whilst the Aqua Kleen bags offer superior filtration and water quality, they have a short lifespan (3-6 months). These cartridges will last 2-3 years on pump 1, and 1 year on circulation pump). We recommend the use of 2 x la fc-1220 cartridge filters on the main pump and 1 x Aqua Kleen Bag filter on the circulation pump. This configuration offers 24 hr micron filtration, along with low restriction skimming filtration from pump one when on purge or in use. In this configuration, and with correct cleaning, the bag filter should be replaced every 3-4 months, and the cartridge filters every 2-3 years. See below for a combo kit.

Note - Dry running (insufficient water) will result in pump failure due to overheating the impeller bearing/seal system which relies on water for lubrication. Warranty does not cover this event. Ensure water flows after initial installation, after refilling, and after filter cleaning. If not, clear the air lock by loosening the tubing connected to the pump until water leaks out. Retighten and check flow.

Heated 2 speed air blower to suit LA Spa Quest, 2900, 2500, 2100 series spas with 2 speed blowers.
The motor is a standard 1 speed motor. The heater has 2 elements which when switched via the touchpad are run in either series or parallel with the motor to provide low / high speed. A blown element will drop out low speed (only high speed would work). A seperate relay mounted off the circuit board controls the heater / motor power configurations.
